Squaw Valley ski resort in Olympic Valley, California, is one of the largest ski areas in the United States and was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. It is the second-largest ski area in Lake Tahoe after Heavenly.

Squaw Valley is home to several annual summer events.

The Aerial Tram is one of valley’s most popular year-round attractions. From the top, one can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Also, numerous activities including roller skating, hiking, and a mountaintop pool could be accessed from there. At Squaw Valley‘s High Camp, one can choose from a variety of trails including Squaw Peak and Watson Monument at Emigrant Peak. The Swimming Pool and Hot Tub at High Camp are surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra including views of Lake Tahoe. The Aerial Tram ticket could be used at for the Squaw’s 18-hole disc golf course. Geocachers can find  Squaw Valley‘s 10 caches hidden among the mountain’s peaks using GPS coordinates.
